How to Set Up a Mobile Proxy on Android Using Super Proxy
Setting up a mobile proxy on Android is straightforward once you have the right app. In this guide we are using Super Proxy — a clean, reliable proxy client available on the Google Play Store that routes your traffic through any SOCKS5 or HTTP proxy system-wide. We will walk through the full setup from download to verification in under 5 minutes.
Before you start: Have your SentraCell proxy credentials ready — SOCKS5 server, port, username, and password. These are delivered straight to your Telegram DM after purchase. Don't have a proxy yet? Message us on Telegram to get set up in under 10 minutes.
What You'll Need
- —Super Proxy — download from the Google Play Store, or use the APK if you prefer
- —Server — your proxy server address from your SentraCell DM
- —Port — your proxy port number
- —Username and Password — your proxy authentication credentials
Step-by-Step Setup
-
1Download Super Proxy from the Google Play Store. Search "Super Proxy" and install it. You can also use the APK directly if the Play Store isn't available on your device.
-
2Open the app and tap Add Proxy to create a new proxy configuration.
-
3Name your proxy — you can call it anything. Something like "SentraCell" works fine to keep things organized.
-
4Get your credentials — open Telegram, go to the SentraCell bot, tap Credentials, and copy your SOCKS5 details.
-
5Enter the server address — paste your proxy server into the Server field.
-
6Enter the port — paste your port number into the Port field.
-
7Set authentication method to Username/Password — tap the Authentication Method dropdown and select Username/Password, then enter your credentials.
-
8Set DNS resolution to Cloudflare — in the DNS Resolution field, select Cloudflare. This tends to work more reliably with mobile proxies.
-
9Tap Save then tap Start. Once the timer appears and is running, your proxy is active.
-
10Verify it's working — open Chrome and go to browserleaks.com/ip. You should see the proxy IP address, not your real location. If it shows a US carrier IP you are connected and good to go.
You are live. Super Proxy is now routing your Android traffic through your SentraCell mobile proxy. The timer in the app confirms the connection is active.
How to Rotate Your IP
To get a fresh IP address without stopping the proxy, just open Telegram, go to the SentraCell bot, and tap Rotate IP. The device goes into airplane mode, reconnects to the carrier, and comes back with a new IP in around 10 seconds. You do not need to touch Super Proxy at all — it stays connected and picks up the new IP automatically.
On Android you can add Super Proxy to your quick settings panel for fast access. Long press the app icon, tap Add to Quick Settings, and you can toggle the proxy on and off with a single swipe from anywhere on your phone.
Troubleshooting
If the IP checker still shows your real location after starting the proxy, double check that the server address and port are entered exactly as they appear in your credentials DM. A single character off will prevent the connection. Also make sure you selected SOCKS5 as the proxy type and that Username/Password authentication is enabled.
If the app connects but traffic is slow, try switching the DNS resolution setting to Cloudflare if it is not already set — this alone can make a noticeable difference in speed and reliability.
