Every operator has seen this movie. A provider is great for a few months. Then the group chats find out, the provider keeps selling past what their hardware can carry, and the proxies fall apart. People leave, quality comes back, new people show up, same thing again. So the standard advice became: if you find a good one, keep your mouth shut.
That advice is fair for how most proxy companies are built. We built SentraCell specifically so it wouldn't apply to us. This page walks through how, teaches you the network side of it, and shows you how to check all of it yourself instead of taking our word.
Why providers degrade
Most providers aren't trying to scam anyone. They just oversell. A shared pool or a modem rack has fixed hardware, and adding one more customer to it costs nothing. So when a provider blows up, the temptation is to keep taking money. Every new client lands on the same towers and the same IP ranges as everyone else, the pool starts absorbing more abuse than a normal network ever would, platforms notice, and suddenly every customer has problems in the same week.
The people who joined early always feel it worst. They remember when it was good. Worth saying here: the clients who joined SentraCell at the very beginning are still with us.
How SentraCell is structured
One client per device
Every port is one physical Android phone with its own US carrier SIM, and it belongs to one client. No pool. Nobody else's traffic touches your device, so nobody else can burn your IP reputation. This was the model on day one and it's still the model now.
A hard ceiling at every location
Every location has a maximum device count we won't cross. When a location gets close, we stop selling there. Simple as that. It keeps our devices spread thin across the local carrier ranges instead of piled on top of each other.
Multiple locations, separate carrier zones
Three locations right now: two in California, one in Texas, New York next. All of them sit in busy commercial districts, streets full of offices, apartments, shops, and constant traffic. The towers there serve thousands of active people at any moment, so our devices are a small share of a very busy pool, and their traffic blends into everything around them.
Three carrier networks
We run Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile SIMs across the fleet. No single carrier pool carries all of our clients, which keeps IPs fresher and spreads the load across three separate networks instead of one.
Hardware first, sales second
We don't sell a port until the phone for it exists. Devices and SIMs get provisioned ahead of demand, and when a location fills up, we open a new location. We don't squeeze more clients onto the same hardware. Ever.
Owned end to end
The phones are ours. The SIMs are ours. The rotation setup is ours, run in-house. Nothing is rented from another proxy network and nothing is resold. There's no other company underneath us.

Why mobile IPs are so hard to flag
To see why this structure works, you need to know how mobile carriers hand out IP addresses in the first place. (New to the space? Our guides on the four types of mobile proxies and dedicated versus shared assignment cover the basics.)
Here's the part most people never get taught. Mobile carriers use carrier-grade NAT, or CGNAT. Instead of giving every phone its own public IP, the carrier shares one public address across hundreds or even thousands of real subscribers in the same area at the same time. The IP your device holds right now was on someone's personal phone earlier today, and it'll be on someone else's tonight.
That sharing changes the math on blocking. When a platform bans a datacenter IP, it loses nothing, because no real person lives there. Ban a mobile carrier IP and you just locked out every normal customer behind that address at once. Platforms know this, which is why mobile ranges get far more leniency than datacenter or even residential ranges.
It also means a mobile IP doesn't carry long-term memory the way a static IP does. Addresses cycle between real subscribers constantly, so reputation resets are baked into the network itself. When you rotate a SentraCell device, the airplane-mode cycle drops the tower lease and pulls a fresh address from the local pool in 5 to 10 seconds. Same thing that happens when any normal phone reconnects.
One catch, and it matters: all of this only works while the pool you draw from stays healthy. If thousands of proxy-driven accounts hammer one local pool from one building, that pool stops looking like normal people, and platforms adjust. That's the whole reason the ceilings and the carrier spread exist. They keep our share of any one pool small enough that it keeps behaving, and scoring, like what it actually is: a normal consumer network.
What that means in practice
The wave has nowhere to start. More customers doesn't make your service worse, because your service is a physical phone that belongs to your account, at a location with a cap. The honest trade-off: we grow slower than pool providers, and sometimes a location is simply full and you wait. We're fine with that.
It also kills the whole gatekeeping thing. There's no pool for new people to crowd. Send a friend to us and they get their own device. Yours doesn't change.
Track record
When you read proxy reviews, ignore the praise and look at the dates. Staying good for months is the one thing a shared pool can't fake:

Verify it, don't trust it
Anyone can write a page like this, so don't take it on trust. One note before the list: we don't lean on the basic IP score checkers. They mostly don't measure what platforms actually look at, and some are oversensitive to things that don't matter. Use them as one data point if you want, never as the test. 2Check the network, not the score. Your IP should resolve to a real US consumer carrier, Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile, in your assigned state, every time, including right after a rotation. A datacenter ASN from any provider is a walk-away signal.

3Watch behavior over weeks. The only test that matters is your accounts on your platforms. On a dedicated device your history stays stable. Shared infrastructure shows up over time as drift, throttling, and flags you didn't cause.

Common questions
Why do proxy providers get worse over time?
Because most of them run shared pools or modem racks. The hardware is fixed and adding another customer costs nothing, so when demand spikes they oversell. The local IP pools absorb more abuse than a normal network would, platforms react, and every customer gets hit at once. It's structural, not bad luck.
What happens when a SentraCell location is full?
We stop selling there. Every location has a hard device ceiling, and when one fills up, growth means opening a new location (New York is next), not stacking more clients on the same hardware. Sometimes that means you wait for a spot. That's the price of keeping every existing client's pool healthy, and we think it's worth it.
How do I verify a proxy is actually dedicated?
Check that the IP resolves to a real consumer carrier in your assigned state, every single time, including right after a rotation. Run your actual workflow during the free trial. Then watch it over weeks: shared infrastructure shows up as drift, throttling, and flags you didn't cause. And ask the provider direct questions about the hardware. If the answers are vague, that tells you something too.
Do I need to keep a good proxy provider secret?
For pool-based providers, honestly, maybe. Every new customer dilutes a shared pool. With one client per device there's nothing to dilute. A new client gets their own phone at a location that's under its cap, so recommending us changes nothing about what you have.
For partners
If you run a community, a channel, or a tool, recommending a proxy provider is a risk to your own name. When the provider goes downhill, the person who recommended them takes the heat too. This page exists partly so you don't have to carry that risk on trust.
